If we truly believe that God loves us---and we accept that love...here is a question that I challenge you to answer:
HOW DO I LIVE OUT THE TRUTH THAT GOD LOVES ME?
WHAT ARE THE THINGS I DO, THE THOUGHTS I HAVE, THE FEELINGS I HAVE THAT SHOW THAT I TRULY BELIEVE THAT GOD LOVES ME?
WHAT ARE THE WAYS IN MY LIFE I DON'T LIVE OUT THAT GOD LOVES ME?
We can all say we know the truth, and we can even say we believe the truth that God loves us...but do we live it?????????

The one verse that hits me this week, since it's now Monday, that came from 1 John 4:18 was this one: "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love."
If we truly believe all these verses that we've studied about God is love and God and His love, than this must be true in our lives. We have no reason to fear. This is especially important to me this week as I am making some very difficult decisions regarding my husband and my marriage that are going to rock my world. Apart from God, I would be arrested by fear and would not be able to take these steps. Satan is truly trying to infultrate my emotions.
But praise be to God, He, in His perfect love, casts out all fear. His love gives me the foundation I need to stand on this week and I will not be afraid and I will not be moved.
The other aspect of this truth is that I must begin to love outwardly to the world, to God's people who are needy. This has been so clear in God's messages to me through church and through my life group. Knowing God's love isn't complete until we reach out in action to love the world. This is the way I don't live out the fact that God loves me. I want to purposefully seek how God wants me to reach out to those in need in my community and my city. I am so thankful that my church provides opportunities to actively be involved in local missions.
