Hello everyone! I'm soooo excited about this Bible Study. In the last three years of my counseling ministry I have found that the reason most people have difficulties that they struggle to get through is dependent upon what they believe about GOD.
We so often find it easy to believe in the PROMISE but unsure who the promise maker really is! My goal is to present the truth of God to you in a way that you can embrace him and conquer fears, overcome obstacles and find the abundant life HE promised you.
Take a few minutes to post a comment here...tell everyone about yourself and who your 'STUDY BUDDY' is. Explain why you are doing this study and what you hope to gain through it.
I will make a post on Saturday explaining everything, and then we will being this upcoming Sunday. We have room to grow, so if you know anyone who may be interested, don't be shy!
Any emails can be sent to me at
embracingbiblestudy@gmail.com
I'm looking forward to growing with you and connecting with each of you....
In HIM::

Hey All!
I'm Gabbie! Right now I'm living in a SMALL town in Arizona. My husband and I have 2 boys, Ryan who is 5, and Drew who is almost 7 months. At this current moment, we are all living in a small room in my fathers house. (which is an experience all in itself!) My husband, Jay, medically retired from the Army this past June which has placed us in the land of limbo. This is were we remain today!
I am excited about this bible study. This town is all catholic leaving me really no place to attend church. (or honestly not wanting to get involved in a church here...it's a long story) At any rate, I've missed the relationships and growth that comes with being involved in a church.
My study is buddy is Amanda. She is currently in Georgia, so we are doing this cross-country!
Hi
My name is Manda. My husband and I have 2 children, Alleah 5, and Jacob 2. My husband is in the army. We are stationed at Fort Benning Georgia, where my husbands current job is drill sgt. We have only lived in Georgia since last July. It has been a huge change for our family.
Im am excited about this bible study. Since I have recently moved to the south I have not been able to find a church that I would like to attend on a normal basis. So this is a good way for me to continue my relationship with God.
My study buddy is Gabbie. We have been friends for about 4 years. So this will be a good experience for the both of us. Another reason to have one of our long conversations :)
Hi Gabbie and Amanda...I'm so glad that you're doing this with me. Gabbie-I miss you dearly. And Amanda--I can't wait to get to know you!
Hello,
I am Trey Fitzpatrick and I am Mrs. Crawford's "baby" brother. I am 23 and am married with a 3 year old son named Andrew. I am currently getting my BA in education and hope to be teaching and coaching in High School next year. I have recently found our Christ Jesus and I am excited about doing this bible study with my sister and excited to deepen my faith.
Hi all,
I'm Dosely. I live in San Antonio with my husband Sergio and stepson also named Sergio, whom is with us every other weekend and one day a week. I am a counselor and I work part time with adolescent males at an emergency shelter. My husband works full time as a service/sales rep for Cintas, goes to school part time and is training to wrestle, yes, WWE style wrestling!
My studdy buddy is Ari, we work together at the shelter and have only known each other for a short while. My hope in doing this study is to get plugged in with others seeking to know God and also get to know my study buddy better. I've never blogged before so this is a new experience for me and one that I look forward to!
Hey,
My name is Rusty. Trey Fitzpatrick is my best friend, I've known him since third grade. I'm 23 years old and recently graduated with a degree in physics and minor in math. I'm doing this bible study because I really believe in the last few years the devil had taken over my life and the choices I was making. Recently Trey has helped me get away from these temptations and I'm a better person for it. I'm excited to how this bible study can strengthen my faith.
Hello. I'm Nancy and I live in San Antonio with my husband and 3 kids. My husband is medically retired from the Army and I am currently mom looking at going back to work in education. My life has a lot of turmoil in it right now and I am clinging on to God as closely as possible. I have been humbled and continually reminded that the only person I can effectively change is me, and I want to continue to seek know God more.
Oops...forgot...I have two study buddies, Sunshine and Tessa who are friends of mine here in San Antonio.
By the way Rusty and I live in the wonderful big small city of San Antonio TX. He is my study buddy and hopefully along my brother Ty. It has been great to have such great brothers to get me through my recent situation. Its amazing how God through his power can put people in your life at time of need. He's Amazing!

I'm so excited about this! I can't even explain how cool this is that we can connect with each other all over the country and study God and his word as ONE body of Christ! Please feel free to talk with each other, outside of your study buddy.

Hi everyone, Sorry I'm starting late, but it's better late than never right? I had to reactivate my gmail account. I haven't used it since my husband was deployed in 05. LOL I'm Sunshine. I'm 31 yo and a mother of five. By the end of the year my kids will be 13, 9, 7, 5, and almost 2. My husband is also medically retiring from the army at the ripe age of 30. I'm petrified for I have never been anything other than an army dependant. This summer has been a very hard one for me, because of personal struggles and marital hardships. Through my weakness I have gained strength though. Tessa and Nancy will be my study buddies! Right now I'm going to play catch up!
Hi all... it's me Steph, and I'm the official slacker of the group. So sorry. I'll spare you all the excuses of how busy I've been and just say I will certainly try to be better.
Forgive me?
I'm doing to bloggy Bible study b/c I'm total blog junkie and I thought it would be great. I've been out of the small group loop for quite some time now so I thought this would be a good way to jump back in. Let's hope I can keep up :)
